What are Ballistic Plates?

Ballistic Plates are rigid protective inserts designed to be placed inside plate carriers or tactical vests, enhancing the wearer’s protection against firearms and explosive threats. These plates are essential in high-risk operations such as active shooter situations, military combat, and SWAT deployments, where soft body armor alone may not offer sufficient protection.

Ballistic plates are typically made from materials like ceramic, steel, or ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).
