The process is easy!

Power ON The Device
- Plug in 110V AC (220V for Europe)
- Flip switch to ON [-]
- Red light means the unit is READY to FIRE via remote (lid must be open to fire)

Key Fob Remote
[A] Fire on press (1 shot/press)
[B] 3 shot burst mode x2
[C] 6 shots (1.5 sec delay)
[D] Stop sequence and reset

Test Shot
Make sure the ammo can lid is OPEN and maintain a 6 ft distance from the box. Then, fire a test shot using the remote to insure proper remote pairing. Click here to see how to re-pair the remote.

Power OFF the unit and wait 1 minute. Press and Hold the red “B” button while turning power ON. Continue to hold the button down for 7-10 seconds. The unit will now be paired to remote.
The remote uses one 2032 BATTERY and can be replaced by inserting a coin into the top end of the remote (by the “A” button). Twist the coin to split the weather resistant case into halves.
When pressing the buttons on the red light is weak when lighting up. Also you will notice a decrease in range as the battery gets weak and needs replaced. (Holds one 2032 Battery)
Expect about a 400′ range with the standard Key Fob Remotes. This will vary based on the RF environment. Adding the external antenna will add an additional 50-75′ or a Max Range Remote will double/triple the range to over 1000′
Keep it stored and used in environments away from water or dampness. At the end of a training, turn the unit upside down to remove any potential particles or debris that may have accumulated. Keep it stored in it’s protective case.
Using a small screwdriver or knife blade/tip, after the red light has gone off, insert it in the top of the opening where the cord plugs in…and pull towards you a little drawer that houses the active fuse at the end. You will find a spare fuse hidden in the sleeve that can be swapped for a burned out fuse if needed. (if excessive use is causing both fuses to blow, you will find a set of spares under the cords in a small plastic bag or call for free spare fuses)
No not at this time, it is set at an intentional loudness for safety but effectiveness over the alternatives. Yes, Each unit comes with 2 matching remotes for one gunSHOT BOX. But if you want to control 2 gunSHOT boxes from one remote (so you don’t have to deal with multiple remotes) this can be done by CLONING the remotes. You can erase a remote by holding down buttons A&B for 5 seconds and it will then be in record mode so when you press down button A on another remote and bring it close to the recording remote it will grab that code. Warning: This device generates high-voltage electrical discharge (arc flash). Avoid using near water or in rainy conditions. The gunSHOT Box emits loud sounds, so maintain a safe distance and use hearing and eye protection when in close proximity. As it produces sparks, keep the device away from flammable gases and fumes. Be aware that the sound may provoke emotional or PTSD-related reactions, so inform individuals nearby before activating the simulator when necessary.
