What is SecuriBlank®?
SecuriBlank® is a training blank cartridge designed to provide a realistic firearm experience while ensuring safety by eliminating projectiles. These blanks replicate the recoil, and muzzle flash of live ammunition, making them ideal for exercises focused on marksmanship, weapon handling, and tactical drills. SecuriBlank® is widely used by military, law enforcement, and firearms instructors for training in environments where live fire would be unsafe or impractical.
Unlike live ammunition, SecuriBlank® produces no lethal projectile, reducing risks during close-range scenarios or force-on-force training. However, the use of these blanks still demands strict safety protocols, as the muzzle blast and gases released can cause injury at close distances. Instructors typically enforce protective measures, such as minimum safe distances, heavily padded masks and protective gear plus eye and ear protection, to prevent accidents. There is both a “Loud” version and a “Quiet” variant with no sound.
SecuriBlank® ammunition is often paired with modified firearms that can only fire blanks, ensuring further safety by preventing the accidental chambering of live rounds. These features make it a reliable tool for dynamic shooting exercises and firearm familiarity drills, where safe yet realistic training is essential.
Incorporating SecuriBlank® into gun safety programs allows trainees to develop skills like trigger discipline, proper grip, and controlled breathing under simulated stress without the risks posed by live fire. Due to demand, one may need to order 6-12 months ahead of training to ensure you are stocked & ready for training. For best results on training day, assign a volunteer to clean barrels after every magazine dump to prevent jams during drills.
